Thursday Night at the Peach City Beach Cruise

Please reply on this thread, or on the National thread if you plan to be in Penticton Thursday night. early enough to meet for dinner on Thursday night, tentatively 6 PM

Les and Dona live at Lakeshore condos, across the street from Rotary Park. They have graciously offered the use of the common room for Thursday night. It's a great spot to meet, and I will arrange a catered dinner. We can use the common area, and the very nice grass area facing the lake. Meeting at a restaurant is great, but the opportunity for Fanatics to mingle and meet is very limited. This will be a very comfortable and casual evening.

Rotary Park is ours for Thursday night. Security has been arranged. Tent is booked. No need to deal with the hotel parkade.


Cost per SSR - $20

***Please note this applies to all SSRs, whether arriving Thursday or Friday.

This is a BYOB (Bring your own whatever quenches your thirst) and BYOC (Bring your own lawn chair.)


Cost for Thursday dinner - $20/person.

They do not use any MSG in their food preparation.

They also assured me no one would go home hungry.

Costs for the park, tent, security, etc. - $20 per SSR..

Thursday night meal - $20/person BYOB

Tent is rented, park is rented for Thusday night, security for Thursday night arranged.

Can I put down Roy and Sandy and Terry and Jeri as confirmed???

I will start a new thread with detailed itinerary, costs and payment information this weekend.

I plan to post the tentative agenda by Monday so everyone knows WHAT WHEN and WHERE.......

FYI: The postage is $.75 from the USA

When you send your checks to Ray for both the Thursday night Party ($20 per person - PREPAID) and the Security/Tent for the weekend ($20 per truck).
(Please remember that Ray has been diligent about getting everything taken care of for all of us and that he has committed this money to the Caterer and the Security people....... If you do not plan to attend the Party on Thursday, the cost is still $20 per truck for the Security which is very important as per everyone who has attended this event will agree).
