This wildly successful event will have us working from Zia's Group menu as follows:

Cost - $26/plate

Hot Appetizer Platters to Share

Caesar, Greek and Coleslaw Platters to Share

Main Course Choices

Thai Coconut Chicken

Breast of chicken sauteed with peppers, onions and Thai Curry Sauce simmered in coconut milk

New York Steak

Broiled to your liking and topped with cafe de Paris butter

Blushing Salmon

Filet of Salmon, braised and served with a rose wine sauce

Prawns Pernod

Sauteed with mushrooms and finished with a splash of Pernod and cream

Dessert

Coffee or Tea

This is always an exciting event. Everyone showing up for their first meet and greet of the weekend, all kinds of cool SSRs to check out.

I will arrange safe parking across the street at the Catholic Church parking lot.

The area is freshly paved, so nice and clean.

If you are new, I will have nametags for you. If you've been here before, but have lost yours, let me know so I can make some up for you

Directions to Zia's

From Penticton

Driving North, , climb the hill, straight through traffic light at the IGA, McDonalds.

Left lane for the next light. You will see a 7-11/Esso/A&W on the left. Left turn at the light,
follow the curve south.

Drive 1 block. Zia's is a stone building on the left. Church parking lot is on the right.


From Kelowna/Coquihalla

Right at the first traffic light. You will see a 7-11/Esso/A&W on the right.

Follow the curve south.

Drive 1 block. Zia's is a stone building on the left. Church parking lot is on the right.

Give yourself 3 hours or so to get here.

The Coquihalla/Connector is quicker, the run through Vernon and Kelowna is busier, but lots to see along the way.

I have my reservation for Thursday at the hotel and have to eat so I am a tentative yes for this one. I still do not know if there is a group from WA to run with or if I am on my own to get there from Seattle. Getting close though.

Working on a few new Fanatics from Washington - let you know if anything materializes.

You could contact Mark (Jester) to see what his plans are. I'm sure he'd be up for running in a group as well.

I think Mark (jester) is the only one going from WA and OR this year. At this time, I am not sure when he plans to leave, but PM him for sure. We will see you Saturday !

Winding road cruise and Tickleberry's Saturday night.

Peter and Cindy's in Merritt on Sunday for a BBQ.

We are planning on rolling out of Rotary Park around 12:30 Sunday afternoon.
