Vacation 2012...Hawaii

First trip this year is to Hawaii........

Need a break from the cold...

We leave on January 15 and will be on Oahu till 1/19.
Over on Maui till 1/25 then on Kauai until late on 1/29.

Please don't turn the sunshine off.



We would love to meet any Fanatics on the islands if possible.
Hope to see some.

Nice to hear from you..it has been a long time.
I still think of you when I cross a Railroad track.....

When I was putting this trip together in July I tried to
work the Pro Bowl in but couldn't make it happen.

We just got back from the Big Island. We were there for three weeks but I could use another.
The volcano had lost it's pressure and stopped flowing lava while we were there. This baby flows so slowly you usually have a day at least to get out of her way.

Tried as I might, I am unable to change my scheduled meetings at the beginning of the week. So I guess I'll miss you while your on Oahu. Sorry, about that, I'm flying out on Saturday to go to Death Valley then the Laughlin run, so my schedule that week was booked.

I'll catch you on your 9th or 10th trip to Oahu. Let me know if you need local area hang out or eating info.

just booked our trip to Oahu we fly out tomorrow, staying at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki, last name Mackenzie. If anyone wants to swing by for a visit, we'll be the burnt ones on the beach, mai tai's in hand

Have a great time! Last time Jill and I were in Hawaii in January, it rained 60" on Maui and we had no electricity in our condo and all the restaurants in Lahaina were closed. We went on to Molakai where we barely made it to our condo before the road markers prevented us from going forth. The beautiful thing is that in a few days, that glorious sun comes out and all in green, perfumy, and wonderful

Windy and a bit cloudy but temps near 80.

Got back home last Tuesday.
Great vacation. Only one wet day on Kauai but it was still 72 degrees.
Too bad we missed the other Fanatics.

Finally pulled the pictures off the camera.

Missed the cruise in on Maui, it is on the frist Saturday of the month in Kihei near Peggy Sues diner.
Great little place..reminds you of Arnolds on Happy Days..... Jukebox and all.

Found the cruise in on Kauai... Last Sunday of the month at the Walmart(1:00).
Great bunch of guys.....not too many classic cars on Kauai.
