My SSR: 05 Blur-Mike in AZ fan,Mirrors,Trans Cooler,Trans Pan, Vette Servo-Eibach Springs, Joes Tune
We have a new ssr owner
Lets welcome my good friend Gordy Ochs and his 04 Red SSR
Gordy is a tough old guy known in the past in the Seattle Fire Department as the Racing Fireman. Gordy was a top part time Pro Motocross racer in the PNW who raced all over the U.S. in his younger days when not fighting fires.
Gordy has set records as a long living Heart transplant patient who wouldnt quit. Gordy never smoked a day in his life but fighting fires exposed him to cancer causing chemicals that caused throat cancer, he got through that and continued to race vintage MX races, ride the Mexican Baja and his snowmobile in the Washington mountains but a stroke a few years back stopped all that.
After a ride in my SSR shortly after his stroke he wanted one and as soon as he could drive he was getting one, it has taken him a year or so to find a red one and he will be at Des Moines.
For an active guy like Gordy I know the SSR and the SSR family is going to be a plus in his life.
Hey Gordy. I have not seen you In a long time. It Is great to have you as a new Fanatic. Everyone welcomes you to the group, Nothing but fun. You will have to go on alot of get togethers. Cousin Terry hardly gets his R out of the garage anymore to cruise. I think It Is because of all the junk stacked on top of It. Anyway Gordy looking forward to having some good times crusing this summer. Now If I can get a dumpster over to Terrys for a garage cleaning???????? Don
