It is with a heavy heart I have to tell you...

The family lost an important member several weeks ago. Gregory J Cenzer, affectionately known to us all as grimmye, has gone on to a better place. I just spoke to his wife Rita who seemed glad to know that he was missed. It seems he just kind of gave up the fight he had fought for so long. I pray he rests in peace, with his beloved dog Grim, cruising free a bird, without the oxygen tank, in a heavenly SSR. You will be missed my friend.

Dang... this sad news brought a chill down my spine.
He will be miss around here.
I’m sure Gregory made a stop in doggy heaven to take Grim for a nice long walk.

I am so terribly sad to read this news. Greg was the first fanatic with whom I had an 'off forum contact'...he and I had bid against each other for an SSR item on eBay. I won.

But during those two months when I had money (well, actually, work-related) issues and I thought I would not be able to buy an R, I contacted "Grimmye" to offer him the item. He still wanted it and so I sold the item to him.

In fact, I just mailed it to him before he even sent me a check (I didn't want it sitting around the house, 'taunting' me) and gave him a price of fewer $$$ than I had paid for the item.

Not only did he pay me, but he sent me the amount of his last bid on eBay, which was a far higher price than I had asked of him. That's an act of class and honor.

We all Love ya" GRIMMYE"

To Grimmye's wife: I read many of Grimmye's posts, and enjoyed how he loved to install a new modification to his ssr or add a new accessory.I knew he was fighting a loosing battle, but his ssr as well as your loving family kept his spirit
going.I needed a release, for I have been stressing far more than I should over things I can't control,so when I clicked on this thread out of curiosity,I was shocked to hear of are loving fanatic's passing. It reminded me of how fragile our lives are here and we never know when it's our time.I conjured a tear
of sadness for grimmye, but also a tear of happiness for him,now he is whole
again and he will await all of us in due time here. There is no such thing as time on the other side,I have a real time understanding that, but that's what I have been told by the higher source.Grimmye thank you for your presence here,it was a real honor & pleasure knowing you.God bless his family, may he be so gentle in his grace as to allow his wife peace and calm.

Our sorrow too

For Rita,

Our SSR family enjoyed his insightful posts and his sense of humor. His fight was inspirational and his spirit always up. I never met the man, but I find myself typing through tears. I know that the loss of Greg is hard for you and we share your sorrow. He touched many of us, much more than he knew.

God has Greg in his hand now, so my prayers are for peace and grace in Rita's life.

Rest in Peace Grimmye. A little of you lives on in many of us.

Unhappy

I am fine but devastated at the news of Grimmye. He was the first Fanatic I got to know. When I joined he pm'd me for pictures of my dachshunds for his collection of Fanatic dog pictures. He alwas kept in contact with me about his collection of NewBrights and SSR toys. I will miss his dearly. OK pain pill time and back to bed. Thanks IBFine soon

Being missed...yes he will be sorely missed, but not just missed... His vast knowledge, his entertaining posts, his heartfelt comments... We all will be worse off without him.

I pray for his family, as they will feel the loss the worst. For Rita, this will be devestating, as she and Grimm spent so much time...

Prayers for Rita and the family. And yes I'm sure he has already taken time to spend some time with Grimmey, a little pet, a treat, a hug... and they will walk thru the golden streets together.
