I am very sorry to hear about your wife, Beverly Ann. I cannot imagine what that is like to lose someone in your life that you have spent 42 years with. Loving. Learning. Sharing Joys. Sharing Sorrows.
Her physical sense may be gone, but something tells me her spiritual self is still there, and all you have to do is close our eyes and you can see her, waiting for your next experience.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. I just lost my aunt who was married to my uncle for 50 years. I am reminded of that love they had for each other through your post.
You are in my prayers Eagle. I cant imagine the loss you are going through. Marriages like this dont happen everyday. I am happy you had her for that long.

I am so very sorry. Hatterhead and I have only been married 32 years and as much as I bitch and gripe - I would be totally lost without him. You are in my thoughts and prayers. From the experience of losing a father and brother, the pain does diminish but the memories are always there.
Man, I can't imagine how you feel. Gloria and I have been married 46 years and as I read your post I tried to imagine life without her. I couldn't do it. You are in my prayers as I write this. May God pour out his grace upon you to endure this time of sorrow.

My heart goes out to you! We lost a son and we still feel the pain even though it was 17 years ago. We have learned to remember the great memories that he left us with and thank God for the time that we were allowed to have him. It will be hard, but value the life together that you had and she will never be gone, but always in your heart. You will be in our prayers and hearts.
