Sad News, We lost Another SSR Fanatic
Sorry to report we lost SSR Fanatic Dave Price yesterday.
I never got to meet Dave in person although we communicated through PM's over the past year.
Here is his obituary:
East Peoria - David A. Price, 60, of East Peoria, IL, died at 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 3, 2009, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born June 9, 1949, in Peoria to William T. and Helen Joanne (Land) Price. He married Bonnie Kaveney on April 15, 2006, in East Peoria. Surviving are his wife, Bonnie Price of East Peoria; two daughters, Traci (Andy) Sullivan of Morton and Jenni Kaveney of East Peoria; two grandchildren, Maggie and Max Sullivan, both of Morton; one sister, Pat (Tony) Palamar of Las Vegas, Nev.; one niece, Nicole (Gregg) Bloom of Las Vegas; two great nephews, Chandler and Connor Bloom, both of Las Vegas; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James M. Price. David served with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves. He was employed with Caterpillar Inc. for 40 years, retiring from CPI Inventory Management in Peoria on Jan. 31, 2009. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Peoria, the SSR Fanatics, and the Wednesday Night Golf League. He was a former member of the Morton Jaycees. Cremation will be accorded.
Sorry that I didn't get a chance to know him.

It's always sad to lose a member especially since he just retired this year. Condolences to his family as he will always be remembered in the Fanatic family no matter how well known or not. He is in a better place.

dave's wife , Bonnie, PM'd me and asked if i knew anyone interested in his 2004 redline SSR with 12,949 miles, never been driven in the rain. has mpd spoiler, chrome seat hoops, (i installed for him) not sure what else he had on the SSR but will check if anyone wants to know. it is a very clean SSr and kept in the garage.
