Steve - I am so sorry for your loss. Always think of the good memories you created with your father. It's obvious from the words you wrote that your father taught you well, and instilled his finest values and virtues in you. I pray that you find peace and comfort in your memories of your dad.
SSR Fanatics,
To one and all of you, I really appreciate the Thoughts and Condolences that you have posted. Just over 2 years ago Rebel asked to see if I could find a solution for the SSR Deck Lid Supports. At that time I did not know any one of you. What I did find was a group of people that really care and have treated me like family.
Now this with my Dad, just shows how deep your hearts really go.
When I was in Australia to visit my Dad before he died I showed him some Photos of Silver FPR # 23946. He asked what the heck is that thing. When I explained it to him and told him about the SSR Fanatics, he replied!
I always said you and your car fanatic friends must run Mobil 1 in your veins
with the interest that you have had in cars over the years.
Quite a unique comment, as I did not know he was aware what Mobil one is!
Thanks once again, and I look forward to seeing you all at Kerriville, Texas in June 2009.

Steve - I don't know you but many others do and think very highly of you. One can do alot on their own but having supportive family helps and sounds like your Dad was special. I lost mine 6 years ago but never a day goes by without something coming up that reminds me of Dad. Ken
Fanatics,
We had only just departed three hours earlier, en route to Kerrville, when I received a phone call that my Mum's health was rapidly deteriorating. That week in Kerrville I held the emotions inside as best as I could. Bless her soul, She passed away only one week after we arrived home. This thread started seven months ago, now I can find closure for both my parents being together again. Thanks for all your Moral support - SSR FANATICS.
YOU ARE FAMILY.

Steve,
I am so sorry to hear this news. Man,.. when it rains it pours. But it made me think about how many people out there that have passed, and how quickly their spouses join them.
You are absolutely right. Your parents are together now, watching down on you.
God Bless you.

So, so sorry for the loss of your mom Steve. My parents both passed within a short time of one another too. I felt a little better knowing that they were together again... I hope it's the same for you. It's hard to be an orphan though, no matter how old you are. Prayers sent to you and your family.

You did a good job of disguising your feelings in Kerrville. You have my condolences on your loss and you and your family will remain in my thoughts.

We are sorry to hear of your loss. At least you can know now that your mother no longer faces the issues she had in life, and is now at peace. It is a good thing for her, and for that I hope you can find comfort.
Thanks again for your great friendship and support to all SSR owners!
I just got home and read your PM........ Debbie and I send our condolances and prayers for you and Kim. I know you have a heavy heart...... maybe there will come a little peace in your life.......
