Exclamation Talk about bad luck....

Hi all,

Fiona (vavoom) here from Townsville. I just had a phone call from Steve Fenner completely out of the blue. We met Steve when he was in Australia Christmas before last and he brought our gas struts with him for the SSR.

Well, believe it or not, after the sad losses Steve has had to endure over the last few months, he was home in Australia finalising things after the passing of his Mother when he had a heart attack himself!!!! This was just before he was due to fly home. Thank goodness it didn't happen on the plane back to Canada. He was transferred to the Mater Private Hospital in Townsville and he called this evening. I am so pleased that he remembered our names so we can go to visit him in hospital and cheer him up as he is a long way from home and family. I actually work in specialist rooms in the grounds of the Mater so I can pop in to see him and pass on your good wishes for a speedy recovery.

Will keep you guys informed.

Bye for now.

Fiona

Fiona....................thanks so much for informing us. Please tell Steve that we are thinking of him and to also "follow the doctor's orders." I know how hard it is for him to sit still for more than 5 minutes.

Steve,

So sorry to hear about the loss of your father. Losing a parent is one of the most difficult things we must all go through. I know as we just loss my Mom on the 14th of Aug. We knew it was coming, but even so, it hurts so bad and I know that I took it much harder than I anticipated.

Please accept my most sincere condolences and know that there are so many of us who share your loss and sorrow. Know that he's in a better place and that time does ease the hurt. You'll always have the memories, but the hurt will lessen each day.

Sincere regards,

CMSgtG = Bob Greene
