It was cold in our neck of the woods... mid 50s... I know I know... but for us!!
... But it was lovely to see the mountains surrounding the basin covered in snow!

That was the one thing I loved most about visiting my brother....from his front porch you could see the snow covered tops on the mountains
It is a spectacular view

Dinner was ready for me when I got home
Before leaving for work I threw together a stew in the crock pot, onions, potatoes, carrots and of course the stewing beef with spices.
I loved coming home knowing dinner was complete when I walked in the door
OMG the house smelled so good as it slow cooked all day

Yeah.. I got a beef roast that I just stuck into the freezer before I let it go bad (like I've done before). It can wait until the weekend now, but I'll use my crock pot for that.
For tonight though, I decided on spaghetti and meatballs. Water's just starting to boil now.
