Been busy cleaning my house this morning. Gonna head to GA tomorrow for Thanksgiving, come back Thursday evening. Cant wait to get some of Ma-Ma's vittles!!!! Im getting my house clean so I can decorate for Christmas when I get back.

Thanks Meg, Im takin the R. I just gave it a bath. It will be my frist trip in it since Phil from Alabama tuned it up!!!!

Well... afternoon Ya'll! Well, I faced the grocery shopping today for Thanksgiving... with some minor things to be picked up Thursday AM... I am done!!! I Survived the grocery store AND Costco!! Yahoo!!

I went to grocery store early this mornin' and got my stuff. Could have waited until I got to GA tomorrow but the store would have been packed. I do afterall, have a nice ice machine here at the motel. Will put it all in a cooler, throw ice in and go to Ma-Ma's and start cooking.

And yes road trip will be fun. Got new Kid Rock CD that dropped today, will jam on the way home. Danny not coming until Thursday afternoon to my mothers. (we cant leave dogs for more than 24 hours, thank god for pet door and fence). I will be back Thursday evening and he will continue on in GA to visit his kids and brother and be back on Friday or Saturday.

Only one I know of in SoCal is down in Signal Hill (near Long Beach airport). We've been to the one in St George, UT a number of times. It very good!!!

Frazzled PAP!

Cripes... 3 hours to get home! Most of that was trying to get out of DC. Freaking worst day for them to literally shut down several major thoroughfares for a motorcade. I say flog the bastard!

I detoured over to a Home Depot and finally got myself a replacement generator. I figured I needed to get in before Friday, cuz after that I don't want to step foot near retail stores unless it's an absolute necessity!

Now it's time to relax.... I think I'll put on a movie tonight.

Well.. I cried and sweated for the dinner.. in other words.. I've prep'ed the sausage mixture and cut onions for the stuffing.. Turkey is salted and waiting... tomorrow the potatoes and carrots to be peeled... a small grocery run, pick up the pie and ice cream and all will be well with the world around 2pm!!

That sound from fountains is very relaxing we have a fountain in our back yard also . The birds it brings in is nice too
