Possible blizzard headin this way. Fillin the tubs so we can at least flush if we lose power
. Should be cold enough outside to make ice cubes
Need to get a generator one of these days.

I take it you have a well then. Water's never a problem here even without power (unless it's the main right out on my street that breaks).
No blizzard here, and what little snow came down earlier is pretty much gone already. Supposed to get some heavy rain tomorrow.

Solid ice covering roads--snow is supposed to follow soon
That's just the way it goes here in central Oklahoma (most of the time).

With a lawn tractor/mower gas going bad isn't an issue. I just need to find out how many amps I need. When we built the house we had circuits separated so we could isolate them and run with a generator.

Twas the best Christmas yet!!!!
When I downsized years ago I bought a tiny 1950's bungalow just for me. So having children and grandkids and great grand kids in for a Christmas dinner was a crowded over the top fun day for all of us. They want to do again next year.. o.k. by that time I would have recuperated from all the cooking for 23 people AND Santa that came in for lunch with the kids.. I Loved it all!!
I hope all of you had a Christmas that was better than mine; which is pretty impossible but wish that for you all anyway.

Happiness is almost getting off work and having your doctor call and tell you your medicine will be waiting for you
