You are right 3-6 inches expected, will be good for the ski lodge.
So many mudslides in the area. The main road (441) through the Smokies has one the size of a football filed. Closed indefinitely. Many more also. Danny has been working many of them. The paving company is using their equipment to clear some of them. He has been working in a subdivision in Waynesville that has four just in that subdivision.

Well... it's bed time here and no snow yet. Weather media strikes (out) again!
Kinda what I expected anyway. At least it made for a rather quiet day at work.
