Well no one knew I was in the hospital...because I took an abulance ride there Thursday and I haven't been on here until today.
I was bitten by a spider and it got infected and oral anti-botics weren't taking care of it. So my hopsital stay was only so I could get anti-biotics via IV 24hrs a day until the infection was gone. I was lucky, the hospital food was pretty darn good. BUT I was suprised that laying in bed for just 3 days straight made me so weak that I couldn't walk around for more than 1/2 hour at a time before I needed rest
I should have no problem attending the Chocolate run this weekend with my son

I was stung by a yellow jacket a few weeks back. My hand swelled up like a balloon. The "injection" point still hasn't healed 100% yet, but at least I didn't get infected.
As far as this coming weekend --- never underestimate chocolate's healing powers!

Finally getting sometime to pap in
Been a busy Monday so far.........
WOW sorry to hear about your trip to the hospital....it's amazing how a little insect can cause big trouble. My nephews girlfriend is allergic to spiders If bit she has to head straight to the ER.

It wasn't the type of spider that was the problem, it was that it got infected when the spider bit me.

I'm pretty much healed....the thing kicking my butt now is being tired from laying in a hospital bed for 3 days. I only got up to go to the bathroom once in a while.
I can't believe how tired that makes you I was shocked.

Thanks, I actually photoshoped my Marilyn photo in. I'm bound and determined to learn that software.
Our temps were great here today, around 76 and sunny. I went for an 8 mile bicycle ride. First ride in over 2 months. I will be sore tomorrow.
