I was lucky, the hospital food was pretty darn good. I should have no problem attending the Chocolate run this weekend with my son

I was stung by a yellow jacket a few weeks back. My hand swelled up like a balloon. The "injection" point still hasn't healed 100% yet, but at least I didn't get infected.

As far as this coming weekend --- never underestimate chocolate's healing powers!

It wasn't the type of spider that was the problem, it was that it got infected when the spider bit me.

I'm pretty much healed....the thing kicking my butt now is being tired from laying in a hospital bed for 3 days. I only got up to go to the bathroom once in a while.
I can't believe how tired that makes you I was shocked.

Thanks, I actually photoshoped my Marilyn photo in. I'm bound and determined to learn that software.
Our temps were great here today, around 76 and sunny. I went for an 8 mile bicycle ride. First ride in over 2 months. I will be sore tomorrow.

It's too late now since he's already out. Maybe next time he'll be sure to ask while he's IN the hospital.

I'm home from Bakersfield now. A wonderful topless drive as it was clear and upper 80's. Put 236 miles on my R today. Time now for a nap.

I thought it was an itsy bitsy spider. Good thing it wasn't radioactive... we'd have a moderator compelled to perform superhero duties too!
