It to early to tell what kind of weather we have on this side of the map.
It's sunny but cold here - was about 30 degrees with 20 degree wind chills!
I had ice on my truck this morning. And it didn't want to start again until I pulled and reseated the fuel pump relay (again). Either the pump is defective or the relay is going bad (I hope the relay - it's cheaper and easier to fix).

After gun club meeting PAP. We had 6 board members show up so we could actually make some decisions tonight (I was bad last month and forgot the meeting).
We keep discussing how we can get more membership participation, but we keep coming up short on ideas. Out of 110-120ish members, we're lucky to have 20 to 30 participate in club events (I am one of them).

Sad thing is that most people join a club just to say they belong to a club.
It's always the same people that show up for the meetings/events. Fortunately you have the 20 + people to keep things happening. Do you ask the non showing people if they have any ideas/suggestions for a topic or event. Invite Miss Colt to a meeting. Watch the turnout.

People join... but they don't want to volunteer for committees to help keep the club going.

Amazing... someone was saying the exact same thing tonight. We actually have members that live across the country, but continue to pay their dues.

Well.... we as the board tend to do that work. Some of the members take the lead for their particular sport - such as high power (which is what I participate in), trap, or pistol. Our pistol participation is pretty bad.
