You'd have to have thermal long underwear and dress in layers.

Dress in layers... if that the case, I would have to plan 5 - 10 minutes ahead of time for bathroom usage.

Just talked to my Mom.....her long term mate has just suffered a stroke (Mild one) and they will not be able to make it down for the family Christmas Celebration on Saturday He's a great man and has been a wonderful companion for my Mom. I tried to lift her spirits as I know this is difficult for her. I did tell her if the roads ever clear up.....I'll go there for a visit instead!!

Mom never misses Christmas with the family

Fred is his name AKA Pop Pa to the grand kids...they've been together for a long time. Prayers are needed.....the crackling in my Mom's voice told me so ....she needs some comfort in knowing he will be all right Thanks He is at home with her now but is undergoing many tests over the next few days. I know they are both worried

HRG keep us posted. We be interested. Hate seeing a Christmas with sad news but I think there is enough good will and spirit in your family to make up for it.

Thanks all......

I'll be keeping in touch with her and will keep you posted. She will be happy to hear so many are sending prayers. If they can't come for Christmas we will find a way to bring it to them.

Turning in for the night...I have no idea what's ahead of me on the roads for tomorrow morning.

The prayers are deeply appreciated!!!!!

Mornin' Ya'll

Takin a day trip to GA today to deliver Christmas presents to our families. One of my friends is goin along for the ride and I'm so glad she is. She is originally from England and talks with a heavy accent. I cant wait for my country A$$ family to try and converse with her.

Debbie, got your mom and Fred in my prayers.

Cold??? cold this morning was 19 degrees! Still only 30 degrees now.

Now, tomorrow, we're supposed to break above freezing all day, which is good since they're calling for rain.

Maybe taking the day off tomorrow as the are calling for freezing rain in the morning. I'll plan on going into work but will make the call in the morning.

I'm a little tired of these back to back storms
