Steve's out washing the Silverado and I'm in putting away some crafts from the wedding and stuff from the WDC weekend.

He looks at the vehicle tab and notices Jul 2008 then he checks out the

it has a tab of Jul 2008 to..........

Just then I walk outside and he said "Deb do these vehicles have the right tabs on them"? I said "Yeah honey

I think so"

I remember going to get them and thought I put them on the vehicles....but with the wedding/wdc and few other things going on....I guess I never did

I filed them away instead

I've been driving both vehicles with tabs that expired on my birthday July 18 that includes driving for all of Woodward in the

I also remember several times when a cop has been behind me

Of all the dumb things ..........

Guess it's not to bad I made it driving for a little over a month without the boys in blue noticing

Good thing I'm organized cause for the life of me I couldn't imagine what I did with them......so first thing was to check the file cabinet under "Vehicle Tabs" and yep there they were all $380.00 of it......for a little sticker

Had I gotten pulled over in either vehicle it would have been the

cause that's the one that shows the rear-end nicely

I once went through a State Patrol road block, where they were checking for registration, insurance, driver's licenses, and such...with an expired inspection sticker.

The stickers were put on the windshield, near the bottom right corner, so it was right there at the trooper's waist.

Fortunately I was on the way home from a wedding rehearsal, and had my bride's maid dress, shoes, and ... stockings splayed out on the passenger seat.

That attracted the trooper's interest more than my paperwork. No ticket that day.

I did this once, paid for renewal stickers but neglected to put them on. Got a ticket while parked at work...make of vehicle was wrong, color was wrong. Went home, put on the sticker, went back to PD and said...WTF

here's the ticket, everything is wrong including the fact that the current sticker is on there

Nothing is dumb....but how dumb does this sound. I was toying with the idea of selling my R...buying a nicely equipped Mini Cooper S and having plenty of change.

We call them tags too

Yes we have bar tabs here too...I never keep a running tab though...always pay for the round when it hits the table

tabs are better and funnier too
