Houston has one of the better Holocaust Museums in the nation. I got involved with it as president of the Syracuse University Alumni Club of Houston.

Two of our members, Helen and Andy Spector, serve on the Board of the museum and Helen's mother is a holocaust survivor, tatooed numbers and all. VERY interesting lady to speak to about her experiences.

SU sponsors an annual program that sends about a dozen or more students to Houston for a couple of weeks to study at the museum.

Thank You

It is an extraordinary sight to see the level of humanity extended by Focks.
I want to thank you for this post and praise you for the act.
We are again at a turning point in history and we are reminded that mankind has the capacity to be cruel and inhumane.
Tyrants are everywhere, and like the mid 30s in Europe where the population was led around by charisma and scapegoating; tragedy ensued, millions were killed. History reveals what lack of knowledge and following leaders blindly has effects that are catastrophic.
History is said to repeat itself, but with knowledge and understanding the masses can prevent another Holacaust.
Again, I thank you for the post and the humanity.
God Bless you and yours and Our United States of America.

Sandy
