Last year was bad enough. I loss both my parents. Now to start the new year off. My 9 year old grandson broke his right hand ( football at school recess) so he is out of Ice Hockey for the rest of the season. Sorry just venting.

Oh, poor boy. Having once upon a time ( long long ago in a galaxy far far away) suffered a broken hand myself, I know the feeling. And sitting around, watching every one else have fun, sucks. Maybe all the bad stuff will get out of everyone's systems early this year...and things will just get better and better.

Hockey at it's finest

Mason57

Sorry to hear about you losses over the last year That must have been very difficult!

We are a hockey family with all the boys in the family playing at one time or another from age 6 on up and the dads coaching Now they are teaching the grandchild

The pride of watching them play is so rewarding. Good thing that they do heal fast and in no time he'll back on the ice again. I know your taking it hard how is he taking it?

I loved watching my son and daughter play hockey when he/she was your grandson age

Bummer, but, kids heal a whole lot faster than you and I do, and they don't seem to let it bother them as much either. Keep the faith

Thumbs up

I thank everyone for the kind words. Don't get me wrong. I'm fine. It's my grandson that I feel bad for. Because he practice's two nights a week and every Sat. there is a home game and every Sun. an away game. The team is short and they really needed him. But he is taking it good. We will go and support the team.
