yes...but to keep from shaking, you should put a table on which to rest your elbows while holding the laptop up against the screen. Oh and if a commercial starts, yank the laptop away from the tv, because you don't want to record those
After you've "uploaded" the show to your laptop, then spin around 3 times while saying "YouTube, YouTube, YouTube"...making sure you don't say "PornoTube"

I think that should do it....if you have any more questions there is a microphone in you laptop that if you speak German into will translate it to Italian and send it to a bank of computers in Alexandria, VA, where it will become English and sent to me....BUT make sure you PM me first because I have the sound turned off at work....if anyone read this whole thing I'll give you $1, just send a self addressed stamped envelope to me.

It's not hard, but you do need some type of video capture device, unless your DVR also happens to be MS Windows Media Center edition.
