Comerica Park-Detroit Tiger Stadium

While good old Tiger Stadium is still standing the new home of the Tigers Comerica Park is spectacular. For those of you who have not seen it...you really must The architecture work is phenomenal

My daughter and I spent Friday evening enjoying the baseball game..... Tigers vs St Louis Cardinals. One of her passions as well as mine. She plays on 3 baseball teams this summer.

It was a great "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" very relaxing evening for us and the view was spectacular

It was nice to slow down and enjoy some good ole past time.......and a little mother, daughter time together

Comerica Park-Home of the Detroit Tigers

Baseball.............Comerica Park

There are famous baseball player statues all over the park and I hear some have pins in their gloves.....just in case a ball happens to land in it I guess it would stay there True or False....who knows I wasn't tall enough to find out

Night Visions in Detroit

Around Tiger Stadium is some of the more popular hang outs and sports arena's....

Ford Field (Lions)
Joe Lewis (Red Wings)
Hockeytown Cafe (been there many times and love it )
Fox Theater (Seen many concerts here)

This area of Detroit is a lot of fun.......we are heading back to another Tigers game in June

Below the fire works after the Tiger game and Jessie & I taking a black & white photo together (framing these) She took photography in high schools and loves photo's when they are done this way.

Awesome photos Deb!

Being a huge Detroit Tigers fan I never miss a game, my son and I
watch every game. Over the years I've been to Tiger Stadium
to many time to count, it's hard to believe that I have never been to
Comerica park. I've set a goal to get there this summer.

Go Tigers!

While many of us were disappointed about the new stadium and did not want to see it built. I have to say it needed to be done. There is not a seat you sit at in this new stadium that you don't have a great view Remember the pole views at the old Tiger Stadium? We bought tickets for $25.00 a piece and these seats were right on the 3rd base line. However, we didn't even sit in them We walked around and sat in any seats we could find.....watching most of the game from behind home plate in a few VIP seats
I recommend doing the $5.00 seats and doing just what we did......you can't go wrong

Wait till you see this stadium up close This was only my second time here, I'm going back again

I went on the Texas Rangers Tour with the 3rd grade a couple of weeks ago, they have an awesome musuem with lots and lots of baseball history we are going to go back during the summer to get to see it all. when they built it they tried to intergrate as much old time baseball feel as possible we even got to go in the dugout and the locker rooms

I don't remember Briggs Stadium

My Mother-in-Law was a huge Al Kline fan.....after she passed on we inherited many of her signed baseball items and park books.

Sitting at the game today......remembering her

In the stadium today I saw on the upper level an are called "Al Kaline's Corner"
