Computer Brainiac Required

I need some (some may be a major understatement) assistance in setting up what I believe should be a PDF. This would be for a revised SSR Registry that requires columns etc. It also will not be a thread but must be able to be edited constantly as it will be infinite. I currently have information on an Excel spreadsheet. Any ideas or know of someone you think would be good at this?

If you wanted to create a database rather than a worksheet you could look at Microsoft Access as well. I use this for home inventory, addresses, etc. There are plenty of templates out there that could help you build what you want. It can also be converted to PDF with no problems.

However, if you just wanted a long running list with different columns on one infinate page, that you can insert into alphabetically, then Excel may just be the way to go...also can be converted to PDF.

It will be a long list as I have something close to 1200 SSR's in my base. I have several other columns containing other pertinent information. I think (and hope) what you are saying is that what I have on Excel can be shifted into PDF format.

To create a PDF, you need a PDF writer. It's basically a printer driver that outputs to a PDF file instead of hard copy on paper. You can "edit" a PDF file after the fact, but you require something like Adobe Acrobat Professional.

My boo, boo...I am under the assumption that if Cash has Excel then he would have a decent version of Office and the ability to convert to pdf would be there...it is on my Office Pro 2003 and 2007.

Personally, I don't know the reason he would want to. I use Excel every year to track all of the Laughlin Run info and it works perfectly.

Do you have a full-blown version of Office? Which one? Why do you want to conver to pdf?
