We have a "bundled" service that includes the television reception, high speed computer and phone hard line. For a month now the tv reception has deteriorated. We experience "tiling" with a following message of :this channel is temporarily unavailable". This lasts for 10 to 15 secs. and then the picture comes back on. We have made about twenty five calls to them to fix the issue. Finally they agreed that our needs exceed single wire band width capability so they agreed to send someone our to "bond" two wires and double our capability. But upon this agreement on August 18th, guess when they can come out? September 2. I am not happy. My usually even temper and mild personality is being put to the test.
Just wanted to rant for a while.

Simple solution, John . . . demand a credit for the "low quality" period.
Isn't it amazing how quickly they are able to respond to new customers while existing "already under contract" customers are forced to wait?
I have satelite TV for just that reason. Cable sucks. However, for many, that's the only high-speed internet option that's available. If you only get the internet service from them, they rape you on the monthly rate. I know, I did it for 2 years with Comcast because DSL wasn't available in my area. Once FIOS was available, Comcast went bye-bye!
