Coplay Sports Santa Parade

Coplay Sports is the little league program in our town. Today Sue and I help Santa deliver presents to the children of Coplay PA.

The parade goes up and down every street in town and Santa delivers gifts (given to Santa by the parents)

Several volunteers walk the parade handing out 1200 bags of candy to anyone out to see Santa.

Our fire department (all volunteer) helps with traffic control to keep everyone safe.

We decorate our motor home as a “float” which gives all the volunteers a place to take a break and warm-up.

It’s a long day (10:30 to about 6:00) but the smiles you see are “priceless”.

Now that's one of those "love to do" jobs.... the smiles on the faces of the little ones make all the work and time...oh so worth it!!
