I remember when when we cruised fremont st in las vegas in the fifties . How things have changed too many cars and all the old places are gone . But when i cruise in my 53 victoria it all comes back . I drive the same model that i had in the fifties just a lot older and a lot grayer but the thrill is still there .
Couldn't drive too well back then either. That 55/56 T-bird almost got creamed rushing through a left turn, another dodges pedestrians on a right turn.
Who could have know those old cars would become classics.
No Japanese cars, but a few VWs, or as they were called before PC days, Kraut Kans.

I noticed that too... and the 1 or 2 that rushed their turns through the red just before the light really went green. But, that was long before the advent of dedicated left turn lights I guess.
