Dave, First of all thanks for posting this.
I wondered how you knew George Poteet
Second of all, Congratulations on being the only triple crown winner and one of them being the Riddler.
I never knew we had a Riddler winner in our ranks.
I know Doug Cooper of New York that won last years Riddler award.
I worked With Alan Johnsons Hot rod shop to do all the carbon fiber for Bob Johnsons 71 "G" Force Cuda that was shown at 2005 and 2006 Sema show and sold at Barret Jackson in 2007 for $550,000.00.

Did you see the Batmobile that is at the Show this year. The guy that built it lived down the street from me when he was a kid. he went to school with my sons. He built it himself and paid other individuals to help with things he couldn't do. We did some work on it and he did a magnificent job since he started the whole thing in his garage with massive amounts of Clay.
Bob Causey built it for one reason. He wanted to offer rides to kids through the make a wish foundation. He is in the middle of a weight loss program so he can fit into the suit that he got from Val Kilmar.

Again. Congratulations

Not being a "car" person, I had to look up the Ridler award... It says this rod was a triple crown winner. What were the other two awards? What a terrific acheivement and congrats...especially for one so humble.

I was looking at past Ridler award winning rods by the decades. It seems Ford dominated the 90's and especially the red ones!...

The 3 legs of the triple crown are:

Ridler Award (Michigan)

America's Most Beautiful Roadster (California)

The Goldmark (Idaho)

Thanks for asking
