For those of you who use DogDogMan Photo Bank (and even those who don't -- accounts are still free!), photo sizes just got a lot bigger.
This was the biggest size before:
And here it is now:
The new sizing controls can be found in the upper left corner of any album. Just like everything else in DogDogMan, no effort was spared to make it incredibly easy to use!
No... DogDogMan is a photo hosting service that Wow's friend start... its been bought... and the new owners have added some cool features. That's how I post my pictures here...

Hi Linda! No, DogDogMan hasn't been bought. It's still just me, David, and my two dogs (thus - DogDogMan) running the show. The dogs just sleep under my desk while I work so they're really not much help. I've had to occasionally seek outside help when things have been really busy or when my real job gets in the way, but for the most part, the site is just a time consuming venture that I fully maintain.
Niceville Bill...Regarding the question about my post being spam... I guess it could have appeared that way to someone not familiar with the site. Sorry about that. There are lots of different forums using the site now and I'd been writing many posts announcing the new sizing features. I guess it started to sound a little spammy.
DogDogMan has grown by leaps and bounds since I started it about a year and a half ago, but so far I've been able to keep costs down and the site free to use. Server expenses are starting to add up though so I don't know how much longer it will remain free for new users.
Anyway, to any of you DogDogMan users, feedback is always welcome as it helps me to prioritize future upgrades.

Glad to see you are able to make useful improvements....get them all in now, because once you start charging people money, no one wants anything to change...
[right before you start charging those new members add video...]

I got it again and it wouldn't even let me scroll down the page. But I tried something in the Password window. It excepted the Password. So maybe it will stay gone now.
Say LT, Why am I seeing this now? I recall Moodyblue was seeing this the other day. This is the 2nd time in the last 2 days that it has pop up on me.
I've tested this dozens of times and I've only been able to reproduce the problem once. At this point I can't say for sure what the problem is, but I have a pretty good idea.
------------------------
The short answer: Within a few days everything should work itself out. In the mean time, if you get prompted for a user name and password, just hit cancel or reload the page.
------------------------
The longer (more geeky) answer: The prompt that you are getting is called a Windows Authentication prompt. Here at DogDogMan, we don't use windows authentication, we use our own user validation. So this is puzzling. So, my best theory is this...
Typically, a photo embedded in a forum post is retrieved from our non-encrypted web server (through http). A few days ago, we had to temporarily route these requests to our secure server (through https). It looks like this might be confusing the vBulletin software (the ssrfanatic site runs on vBulletin). It shouldn't, but that's my best guess. The ssrfanatic site is the one that's popping up the windows authentication prompt unnecessarily.
The reason that the prompt only appears occasionally is that our temporary forwarding instruction has filtered down to some local ISP DNS servers, but not all. This usually takes a few days to filter down to all local ISP's. So in the interim, sometimes the photo request will get forwarded through https and sometimes through http. I'm at a loss for why the ssrfanatic site doesn't like requests that are forwarded through https, but no matter, this morning we changed it back to the way it was a week ago and it should only take a few days at most to filter back down to all the local ISP's.
------------------------
I'll be monitoring this but please contact me through the DogDogMan web site if it's still doing this a few days from now.
