eBay S*CKS!
What is going on with eBay Sellers???
They seem to be continually uploading their items for sale and 95% are for other vehicles but they are allowed to link in by saying it Fits a Chevrolet SSR!
I have seen as much as 30 out of 50 listings on one page with the same stupid parts. Again the only similarity is because it says *It Fits Chevrolet SSRs.
We need to send eBay and the sellers emails and start complaining until they stop this annoying and irritating practice~!
So... tell me how can we stop all this crap from going on?

I've sent 5 emails listing this problem, maybe if more people complain they will correct this "feature". Yes, the sellers are spamming the new system by listing every vehicle they can find with the new "FITS" EBay Motors category. Happens with many other vehicles as well and it is VERY frustrating!!!!!!!!!!
I've gotten to the point several weeks ago that it not enjoyable surfing though eBay anymore as their so much "junk" that has nothing to do with the SSR.

I agree!!! I turned in several of the vendors in the SSR section hoping like you that the Admins would remove the postings. But no luck to date.

Really not much you can do about it. Craigslist sellers are doing a similar thing by posting keywords at the bottoms of their ads, so when you search so much cr@p comes up that has little to nothing to do with what you are looking for

Flag 'em. I do.
And if you have access to computers at multiple IP addresses, it's more effective!

Ebay
I have been involved with Ebay for about 8 years and they have evolved into a monster that is unmanageable.
We do use them to market our air dams and reach to SSR owners. The problem is, as stated previously, when you search SSR you get 37,000 hits.
What has happened is rates are higher. It costs about 15% just to sell a "Buy it Now" and about 7% to list it and 5% to use PayPal. You can see where this is headed.
With so much CRAP being listed your listing gets buried in just a few minutes. Craigslist has forced Ebay to offer other options "specials" from time to time. Right now there is a "Free" to list Auction special. That increased the flood of listings. (I admit we are contributing to the flood).
What to do? All a person can do is work with what you have and find other alternatives such as SSR FANATICS as a more direct route.

My feeble opinion, Marc . . . eBay is in dire need of new management.
Lately, whenever I do a specific search, I seem to find more listings that are far from my actual request. More often than not, duplicate, even dozens of listings of the very same item that has nothing to do with my search request.
Not sure if it is STUPIDITY or ARROGANCE on the seller's part but, in either case, it clearly ruins the original shopping experience that made eBay so famous when I joined ten years ago.
I don't really think it has to do with the sellers as much as the search engine for the website. I know that Google contracts such things out to various places and eBay may be one of them.
For example... I was looking for a certain type of cafe rod brackets just now and some how the search gets linked to women's swimwear also:
I have a little bit different slant on the solution.
All the EBay Techies have to do is to include the offending verbage in their reject meta data for the topic. That way when it shows up it is automatically excluded from the topic everytime.
Now I do agree that for this technical change to occur you need to have interested management to initiate and approve the effort in the first place.
