Favorite Hats-lost & found

Last week DetTweety lost his hat. But there was a quick recovery.
I lost my hat last week also. So I figured it might be under the tonneau cover and it was. I placed it behind my seat and it slipped into the hydraulic area as the top was retracting. A little crushed but wearable. Man what week...I was "Starting To Worry" but everything is ok now.

hat&visor keeper

hey, just take an alligator clip and attach a doubled-up length to it. it should be long enough to reach the adjuster on the hat to the back of your collar. you can put a bead on it to snug it to the hat. learned from a sailboat fanatic long time ago. has kept me from losing fishing hats with lbs of pins attached(they sink mighty fast). carry a spare in both cars, now.

Some Time Ago I Was Driving My 67 Gto Convert. Going Down The Freeway In The Fast Lane. My Hat Flew Off And Landed In The Middle Of The Lane . I Pulled Over And My Buddys Told Me Id Be Crazey To Run Across 3 Lanes Of The Freeway For A Hat. I Told Them I Just Bought It At The Swap Meet We Just Left. Just Then A Car Went Over It And Put In Into The Next Lane Then Another Car Went Over It And Put It Into The Slow Lane. Then A Semi Went Over It And Set It Wright On The Side Of My Drivers Door. Open The Door Leand Over And Picked It Up. It Still Looked New. Set It On My Head And Off We Went. My Buddys Still Talk About That Hat That Came Back To His Owner. I Still Have That Hat To This Day.
