I know everyone is thinking of Sidekick / Jaime, but after talking to Mike today and then Jaime, you can hear he is n a pretty bad spot today. He is really hurting.
First off, I promised that would ask everyone to give him some space today, but tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday... I am asking that everyone who can, send him notes, cross your fingers, say a pray, go by to see him, send him a card... or give him a jingle, and let him know you are thinking of him.
Thank you!
Focks

Our friend is having a really hard time with the chemo and stuff. I don't think that there has been any bad news, I just think he has been hammered by the chemo. I think he needs all of us picking him up and carrying him for a little bit....... emotionally and spiritually.
I may be thousands of miles away from him, but he is in the center of my being right now. I'm not going to let an hour go by without a prayer for you, Jamie.
Jamie,
Been thinking of you this afternoon at work. (don't worry, boss wasn't in today so he didn't see me daydreaming)
Today I had on one of my new SSR T-shirts that I got from John (jleas524). Got a couple other new T's too and will be wearing them this weekend and whereever I go, I'll be thinking about you too.
Hang in there buddy as I know you can pull though this. - Jeff
I am speaking for all the BLUES BROTHERS...... God's speed my friend....come on Blues send a get well note.......The power of prayer is greater than 10,000 SSR's

As a cancer survior, my prayers and thoughts are with you. I did not have to go through chemo, just a couple of doses of radioactive Iodine. I had thyriod cancer in1998, no reocurrence since. Hang tight, this will soon be only a memory.

Jamie,
Just think of the first 200 & 1/2 approach you flew after you got your Instument ticket. You did it and all came out OK. You can do the same with the Chemo.
You are in our prayers for a speedy and clean recovery.
Take care and don't over due it for a few days.
Looking forward to seeing you healthy so we can have that beer SOON.

I talked to Jame earlier today, and while he is doing better, he is still suffering from the after effects of the chemo.
He said imagine being pumped so full of a poisin that you feel like you want to
die... That is where they want you so the chemo can kill the cancer.
Then it takes days for it to work its way out of your body. During those days you
have a difficult time hanging on, unless you have a helluva support group like this.
He said "Thank God for Percocet"
So I promised to give him time, tell him we were all thinking of him.
Ps. Waysouth.... he is looking forward to the nurses coming by.
And after hearing about that card, .. .. .. I am, too!

Thanks for the update Focks. I can't imagine the hell that Jamie is going thru right now.
Jamie, if you can't sleep it off try renting some Faulty Towers DVD's. They might help lighten your load a little. Try to smile, a better day is coming.

Use the Faulty Towers Dvd's for frisbees. Some ugly lookin humans on that show. Real ugly...and not funny. Disregard what I just said..Maybe the DVD's are good sleeping pills. I watched that show once or twice and pulled an Elvis.

British humour escapes some people. I think F.T. is funny, all 13 episodes An old friend of mine liked it too, perhaps you have heard of him - John Candy. A hilarious actor that's for sure, may he RIP.

I'm just being a jerk with my FT critique. I had a friend that would watch FT when we came to visit. I'd sit there and ask when does it start to get funny. Just a little chattter between two friends. John Candy...love his humor. Best Movie...Trains, Planes and Automobiles. His masterpiece.
Jamie. Hope you're feeling a bit better today.
