Ok, let's just say your significant other walks in the door from a hard day at work. He/she looks at you and says "Wow, you look great! What a wonderful person you are!" The first thought that pops into your mind is...?
Okay, Thumper - Do you thrive on trouble? Ain't no way I can respond - besides, my lovely bride and I commute to work together every day, so I can't imagine this scenario! But if I could, I'd think - how lucky I am!! (Is it safe to return to normal programming now?

I am the one who usually tells me wife how great she looks in the morning, and she is usually the one that says something along those lines in the afternoon. I read this in the evening... and it fell pretty much in line with my wife, who came home with DSW bags in hand.
Let's see, first it was "Did you have a good day, Michael?" then "You look well rested." and it ended up with "Guess how much money I saved on these shoes."
I rest my case.

DSW!! Wonder how many times they've been named co-respondent in divorce proceedings?!? That's what de-railed our efforts in the San Diego scavenger hunt....

I know, Doug...... Our spouses always look great.
I usually follow up with a "you've got a really cute_____" and "I love you". I really try to notice when she has on something new.......
All this comes as a direct result of Behavioral Modification. You heard me get accused of "sucking up" this weekend....... I think my 400 level classes in suck-up behavior is finally surfacing.....
first thing......she crash or wrecked the SSR
second.....there is a man in the closet (naked)

A. I started to type how Focks would be probably be the first to make a comment And I backspaced it. Wow. Should have kept that in there!
B. Doug, why do you think this is meant towards you??? Got a guilty conscience? I was just trying to start friendly conversation with our wonderful friends
C. Mikey you were teaching Suck Up 400 this weekend. And might I say you did a might fine job of it!

Hey Thumper - Let me get serious for a minute.............
I have found my soul mate. Her name is Debbie. I had to wait half my life to find her and I wouldn't trade her for anything..... that's right.... ANYTHING.
I drove to Durango without her. Yes, I have been on runs without her in the past, but this one was different somehow. I can't put my finger on exactly what it was, but her absence on the drive up was more significant than ever. She flew up on Friday and joined me for the rest of the weekend. I was complete.
The ride home (through Monument Valley again) was great. I love the SSR and absolutely love the company of my wife. It doesn't get much better than that. The ride home seemed to fly by and my copilot was exactly what I needed. I don't remember turning on the radio once coming home.
Next week is our 8th anniversary. Seems like only yesterday that we met.... but then again, it seems like I've known her all my life.
I tell her how crazy I am about her at least twice a day. I don't pass up an opportunity to rub up against her or tell her how she makes me feel. This is the woman I'm gonna grow old with. This is the woman that makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. This is the woman that I tell "Wow, you look great"............
Thumper - I've spent enough time with Doug (with and without you around) to know that he really means what he says. I know this guy.... maybe a little more than I thought.... Kinda like looking in a mirror.
