Flu

Anybody else getting their butt kicked by this thing? I've been down for almost a week. Having my eye surgery in the middle of it didn't help either. Got the second eye next week.

Down and Out

Houtex - so sorry to hear you've been down with a bug for so long. I had a similar experience back in September, and then a cold in November that lasted 3 weeks, so have much sympathy.

Get well soon!

My wife had it for the past two weeks now. Her doc put her on Augmentin now and that makes her queezy by itself. A buddy of mine from a little town about 25 miles from here had it for most of three weeks.

I had a touch of it for 4-5 days. But, the Navy Rum chased the germs off.

Houtex: Good luck buddy. Take it easy and get rest. We have been fortunate in not getting it yet. Had our flu shots but I guess they aren't really working against this new strain. I was surprised to see how many Fanatics are sick with the flu.

Not sick here, but plenty of people around me keep getting/giving it Sorry your sick, eat lots of chicken soup and don't let it get to bad, pneumonia and bronchitis is running rampant along with the flu! Take care!

Just getting over it

Had it this past week and it was my scheduled week off from work, so that really sucked. I came back to work tonight after missing a couple of nights work. First time in my life I ever went to a Dr because I felt bad and needed some meds. I was (am) on Augmentin, too. Take care all......

Life in a Pitre dish

I've been working from home since last Wednesday with the crud. My colleagues at work appreciate that I'm not "shaing" with them. The crud is running rampant through Honeywell in Phoenix and I am trying to do my part to break the cycle.

On the other hand...........

Our household includes Debbie's daughter who is an assistant teacher for a Kindergarten and her four boys ages 10, 8, 5 & 3. EVERYTHING that they come across at the schools comes home.

Definitely a no-win situation......

I'm on the mend and will be back up to full speed in a couple days. Lots of drugs, fluids and naps.......

Mikey

It's not uncommon for me to get some small respiratory problems when I get back from an international trip. This came on 3 days after I got back from Scotland week before last. I just kept thinking it would fix itself........NOT!!!
