Fly the Flag 9/11/08

Please join us in this FLY THE FLAG campaign and PLEASE forward this
Email immediately to your friends and ask that they too forward it. The

date is close so we need to keep this going so that it will reach every
community in the United States.

THE PROGRAM:
On Thursday, September 11th, 2008, an American flag should be displayed

outside every home, apartment, office, and store in the United States.
Every individual should make it their duty to display an American flag

on this seventh anniversary of one our country's worst tragedies. We do
this honor of
those who lost their lives on 9/11, their families, friends and
loved ones who continue to endure the pain, and those who today are
fighting at home and abroad to preserve our cherished freedoms.

In the days, weeks and months following 9/11, our country was bathed in
American flags as citizens mourned the incredible losses and stood
shoulder-to-shoulder against terrorism. Sadly, those flags have all but

disappeared. Our patriotism pulled us through some tou gh times and it
shouldn't take another attack to galvanize us in solidarity. Our
American flag is the fabric of our country and together we can prevail
over terrorism of all kinds.

ACTION PLAN:
So, here's what we need
you to do ...
(1) Forward this email to everyone you know (at least 11 people). Please

don't be the one to break this chain. Take a moment to think back to
how you felt on 9/11 and let those sentiments guide you.

(2) Fly an American flag of any size on 9/11. Honestly, Americans should

fly the flag year-round, but if you don't, then at least make it a
priority on this day.

Thank you for your participation. God Bless You and God Bless America!

I agree. We have had one up since the attack, day and night with a light. After the attack, most house in our sub division had flags out with lights. I think we are the about the only one who still has a flag out 24/7.

I have lost count on how many flags we have gone through since that day.

we had a local am/pm with really torn up flags on it last year. i and several others bitched (and yelled in some cases) until the were removed. not much bothers me these days but that insulted me terribly as it should all Americans. situatuion rectified.

I have not had time to get a decent light rigged for my flag pole. It is on the list to do but contiues to get pre-empted. Once done the flag will be up around the clock.

I keep a flag in front of my house, but have no light for it.

So I purchase the decorator country-style flags - - the kind you often see with flowers or butterfly or seasonal images on them - - that have Americana themes.

I need to buy a new one and put it up on September 11.

I have the State and US flag flying 24x7 - have done so prior to 9/11.

US flags can be ordered thru your Congressman - you can even request for the flag to be flown over the Capitol. When I bought my house in Kingsburg in Aug 2001, I ordered a few flags to be flown over the Capitol - when they were delivered (after the attack) - I saw that they flew over the Capitol the week prior to 9/11/2001...

This is what Radanovich has on his site - check with your local Rep...
http://radanovich.house.gov/Uploaded...ag-Request.pdf

Can't beat the price - kinda slow shipping, but the price is GREAT!
