Fun Website, # 1 Songs
I got this link off of another forum I go on.
Since there are tons of occasions we could look up lets stick to what was the number one song on your birthday (and tell a little bit about our age here
)
#1 Song on This Date in History
1963 ... "I'm Leaving It Up to You" by Dale & Grace was it the month I was born. Didnt Donny & Marie cut that later?

I'm so relieved it wasn't "Battle Hymn of the Republic"... Bad enough it was "Near You" by Francis Craig - not high on my personal hit parade, but a few decades newer than BHR!

"This Diamond Ring" by Gary Lewis and the Playboys. (1965) I thought it was going to be "Monster Mash" or "The Sound of Music" - both hits that same year.

My Sister-in-law is named Irene and she is Beautiful. I remember when that song came out. But I won't tell anyone. I also remember The Four Seasons we played together at the Pismo Beach Veterans Hall before they made it big. By the way that was a battle of the Bands Concert and they got first and we got second.
