Steve and I have been eyeing some products we've seen at Sams Club

Modlular FLoor Title....... we've also seen rolls that look like diamond plating. New innovative ways of making your garage floor look great and mantenance free.

There's always a vendor or two at The Barrett-Jackson offering some of those garage floor options and the displays look great.

If you remember from last year being at my house my floor is expoxy coated. Went with the spreckle look because of the age of the floor. 1 coat of paint was applied than a clear coat the next day. One hint when you have apply the clear sprinkle a very light coat of sand on the finish. The floor is shinny but the sandmakes is safer when it is wet. 4 years old and no lifting.

Doug....if you ever want to sell your garage...give me the first shot at it. It's fixed up real nice. Hey, your entire house looks good.

Lowes sells the modular flooring, we actually put it in the boys rooms, I figured if it could survive a garage it would survive them

I used the Rustoleum Garage Floor Kit on my garage floor about 4 years ago and it is holding up pretty good. I think the most important think to do is to have a "CLEAN" surface. I used the cleaner they supplied with the kit and had to hose the floor off a few times to get all the residue off. You might want to try this .

For concrete floors that will get wet, dirty, chemicals or rough use. Review Tnemec Architectural and Industrial Coatings for the Best in coatings on concrete. I have used many thousands of gallons for coating industrial floors and launch pads. The best!

These do look good. My question. Does water, moisture, mold form underneath? Do these have to be lifted and cleaned here and there. I do like this flooring

I like that and will mention it to the kids when they find a house and are ready to do my grandsons room

That my concern too.

My problem is my dog sleeps in the garage during the night and not a week goes by when I have to clean up after dog nature or whatever you call it.

I installed the swisstrax last March, I got the rib trax, Water etc goes right thur, you wash it out with hose if needed, My wife feeds her five barn cats in the garage, never had mold, smells, etc. Took about 1.5 hrs to do 20 by 20 garage. Trims with hand saw or whatever. very easy to use and install. Nothing but compliments by whoever sees it. I chose Island blue and white checkerboard. Designed it on their web. Told me how many of each to order, etc. check out their clearance specials, cheaper price, slight color imperfections. great for garage floor.can't see anyway to hurt floor. they are also easy to unsnap and move. one of selling points is that you can take them with you if you move.
