We are getting together with a wild bunch and going down to Dallas, where they block off 10 blocks and their is a street party.

In the past I have worn a "Custom made" Gumby costume. It was 7'6" tall and only had one zipper to get in and out of it. From the left knee to the left armpit. 3 inch foam rubber on front and back and it was bloody hot, I always had to change once I arrived. I usually wore short pants and a t-shirt while in side of it. I could usually drink all night and not have to get out of it, because I tended to sweat everything out. Needless to say, 10 or 11 yrs after it was made for me,.. it was time to get rid of it. Can you say "Ripe"?

I have a beekeeper suit with @400-425 acrylic bees glued to it (Diane dressed like the queen bee, complete with tiara and sceptor), a suit of Chain-mail (weighs @ 85 - 90 lbs., not including the swords) & Diane dresses like a lady in waiting, a whole slew of parts and pieces for other things. Last year I dressed as the Wolfman and Diane dressed as Little Bo Peep.

I love the Halloween stores, and all that theatrical makeup and latex.

Come to the Dallas area the Saturday before Halloween, the 25th, and you can join us. However, if you come you have to have a costume.

If I make it to the Texas Renaisance Festival, I may be getting a doublet and some other pieces for a new costume.

That was one I found on the Prowler site and posted it here to see if anyone was daring enough to try it.
You could try this one also.

KY Jelly costume took first place:

Use white painters or Tyvek overalls (throw away kind) use permanent markers in the colors of the KY Jelly tube to decorate the overalls complete with directions on the back..... then take a lamp shade to us as the cap of the tube. Great conversation piece

Jolly Green Giant and the Litte sprout.................

Steve and I won first place with this costume also

It's my anniversary, so I usually take my wife out, but we do enjoy the costume parties that fall on days other than Halloween.

I once went to an assistant superintendent's Halloween party dressed as Pedo the Clown. I had lots of "toys" in my pockets, and was wearing a harness under my costume that I could attach my toys to. I also had several "noses" that I changed throughout the night. I won first place because I was so outrageous SICK, I am sure.
