Wow! I had no idea any of you noticed my birthday!
Thanks a million.
Visiting this website regularly brings a lot of joy into my life.
Today, I am a little bummed out as my wife brought a really severe cold home from the grocery store she works at, and I'm coughing and sneezing so much that I had to take the day off work!
The silver lining is that I am taking the opportunity to do some fun stuff that doesn't require energy, like:
- I read a bunch of the sections in the "Caterpillar Performance Handbook" that Doug Allen was kind enough to mail me after my "John Deere" posting (I received it today!) WHAT a book!!! Did you gusy know that one of Cat's models puts out 1250 hp?
- I've been outside twice to the outbuilding just to admire the lift some more
- I'm researching cattle breeds (we need to make a cow / calf purchase very soon for our "mini-ranch" homestead
- I'm going to put together a bill of material for the office in the outbuilding - including glass panels (Karen actually SUGGESTED that I do "glass walls" in the elevated office if I can figure out how to get the glass cheap enough, and prudence says I should act while I've got the permission
)
- I want to contact 2005SSR6speed about a performance theory for the supercharged SSRs, that I don't have the time or money to follow-up on right now, but someone should!
