Hedge trimmer Vs. Thumb:(

I would not reccomend this as a way to get out of doing the hedge trimming

We spent 2 hours at Care Now this morning after breakfast because Juan cut his thumb with the Electric Hedge Trimmer

2 stitches inside the cut, 7 outside just barely nicked the bone and sliced through his nail bed too
Luckily it wasn't as bad as it could have been. So very strong anitbiotics, and pain killers too!!!

I did take pictures but they are on his Iphone don't know how to download them to my laptop

Good thing he drank all that milk at breakfast. That will make him heal up fast. So sorry to hear about his accident. Get better soon, Juan

Heres to a speedy recovery.

And while you figure out how to load pics to your laptop be thankful the clippers did not fall onto Juan's laptop.

Brings back bad memories of my own encounters with yard equipment.

Funny thing, remember my list from Friday was to trim the hedges, Well I did that Sat. morning and he wanted to touch up a couple of areas

Woohoo, that milk comment got a chuckle out of him
He fells fine, while they were stitching his thumb, they couldn't numb it more so he could fell everyother jab of the needle
Says that there is a lot of pressure under the nail, which the Dr. left on to help hold it all together! Got to see a specialist tomorrow

And he had that nourishing breakfast, so he has plenty of protein/energy left. Maybe he could vacuum until he feels better?

We don't have carpet I told him we would put him on Paint Patrol no sharp edges, probably without a ladder though so he doesn't fall off

I use duct tape to keep diane on the ladder.

Safety Hazard

I think Juan was really trying to get out of using the trimmers on a permanent basis ...... He just chose to sacrifice his body...

Here at home..... Debbie has been relieved of all hedge trimmer duties, as I had to throw away my favorite 14 ga extension cord. Made great sparks... I am now quite responsive when she wants the hedge trimmed...

Maybe we should have a warning labl permanently installed.....

Give Juan my best regards for a speedy recovery. He will be on the short term prayer list....

Juan - you definitely overdid it, dude.....

I think it would have been safer for the 2 of you to come to the drag races with us. There at least only Force got hurt. Juan could have stayed safe.
