How Does Your Garden Grow?
Ok, so its a car forum but some of us do have other interests. I noticed in some of our profiles that a lot of us like to garden. So lets show our stuff off. I dont have a big formal garden or anything, just lots of stuff scattered about the property.
A small sampling of my rosebushes. I have lots more that are multiple colors but waiting on them to bloom out again.
Pic # 1 is the Betty Boop rosebush that guess who gave me?

Garden in Training
My wife always said if I ever rought her flowers she would know I had done something really bad. One day her mother asked why I never brought flowers and she was told the same thing. I knew we liked to have flowers around the house so I got her a dozen rose bushes for her birthday and we planted them so she would have fresh flowers when she wanted them. She took care of them. I never learned how since my part of the garden was the trains. Now I am in a pickle and the roses are suffering. Miracle grow every two weeks is all I do.
The rest of the garden is Rosemary or Dwarf pomegranite trees. For those who have not seen them here is my picture site again.

I am open for suggestions but must admit I do not like the thorns.
That was a great gift to your wife.
You have to keep them trimmed. When each rose begins to wilt you have to trim it off. Trim the branch back to the first section with 5 leaves.
Also, they have to be sprayed for aphids and fungas. Danny does that part because the sprayer is to heavy for me to carry around.

Gardening
I am so glad you started this thread...cause like you I have a green thumb and love to landscape my 1/2 lot. I'm on my way out for a 4th of July Party but will be taking pics tomorrow. Gardening is so good for me ....it relieves all my stress.

Are you growing all these? I recognize some of them!!
I inherited the roses when I bought this motel and knew nothing about growing them but boy did I have to learn. I dont know what breed most of them are because they were already here and not labeled.

My flowers have to be sun lovers to survive at our house. I also raise ladybugs! They sure have a neat metamorphasis to become the cool aphid eaters they are known for.
Here are some of my flowers
1) Peonies, they are actually finished now, this was taken about a month ago
2)Petunias
