How many

How many people here, no longer have SSR's and are still coming to the board? How long have you been without one? Did you ever have one?

Been without my own for about a week now, though I still walk by the wifes every day and admire what a beautiful vehicle these are. I will get myself into another one of my own eventually.

You got that right. Everywhere I look in my house there's toys, pictures, banners.............haunting me. I think I have as much $$$$$$ in that stuff as I had in my R!

Well if you buy one and live in Victorville, make sure you can park it inside a garage. The dust and wind will strip the paint.

I once owned a Vette in outstanding condition. I sold it way back then at market value $5,900 with the knowledge that one day I would purchase another same year soft top. To make a long story short, todays market value for the same vette is from $25,000 to $50,000. Very happy I used the money I set aside for the Vette to purchase the M&MsToy.

Mine will have been gone for 2 years in late May. Still plan to get another one some day but the recession has been harder to get through than I expected. Trying to get back to work & trying to downsize our house in Canada.

As if I didn't already have enough stress my wife had a pulmonary embolism last Friday. Thank God we got her to the hospital and got the right diagnosis so now she is on blood thinners and will be for several months to get her system back in balance. That little adventure sure put a lot of other things into perspective.

I still visit the site almost every day. Great people with a common addiction.

Same here, common addiction and great people. I'll keep your wife in my prayers.
