Well, the jalapenos ended up pretty toasty, my smoker cookbook was a little off on cook time and temperature.

I rounded Thumper up this morning at 8:30 and headed out on a road trip in the /. We had breakfast at Byler's Amish Kitchen in Black Canyon City, then headed to Jerome. Poked around at the High School Galleries, then headed south on 89A over the Mingus to Prescott.

Walked around Whiskey Row shops, had a beer at Matt's Saloon, then headed south on 89A again through Peeples Valley, Yarnell, Wickenburg and home.

7-1/2 hours, 250 miles, half a tank of gas and a great time with my beautiful bride. Weather was spectacular.

And, I'm taking her and her mom (Chickenlady) to see Clint Black tomorrow night at Celebrity Theater, front row seats.

So, I'm pretty sure she won't list me for sale on Craig's List.
