I Was Fun Being A BABY BOOMER . . . Until Now!

I Was Fun Being A BABY BOOMER . . . Until Now!

Some of the artists of the 60's and 70's are revising their music hits with
new lyrics to accommodate baby boomers once again in their golden years.

They include:

Herman's Hermits -- Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Walker

The Bee Gees -- How Can You Mend a Broken Hip.

Bobby Darin -- Splish, Splash, I Was Havin' a Flash.

Ringo Starr -- I Get By With a Little Help From Depends.

Roberta Flack -- The First Time Ever I Forgot Your Face.

Johnny Nash -- I Can See Barely Now.

Paul Simon -- Fifty Ways to Lose Your Liver

The Commodores -- Once, Twice, Three Times to the Bathroom.

Marvin Gaye -- Heard It Through the Grape Nuts.

Leo Sayer -- You Make Me Feel Like Napping.

The Temptations -- Papa's Got a Kidney Stone.

Abba -- Denture Queen.

Tony Orlando -- Knock 3 Times On The Ceiling If You Hear Me Fall

Helen Reddy -- I Am Woman, Hear Me Snore.

Willie Nelson -- On the Commode Again!

That's good

Thumper and I went to see Chicago in concert about three years ago - wow!

The crowd was a bit more mature than it was in the seventies, and the smell wafting through the air was not reefer, it was Ben-Gay

I think you qualify as a "boomer", my understanding is up to 1964 are considered boomers. Its amazing to me how quick we went from the Generation being catered to; now they say we are nearing the end of our influence. By the way lived, in San Ramon 17yrs; miss the Bay Area.

GOD BLESS THE USA

I was born before the war so I guess that makes me a "fuse" . . . not a boomer.
