Mobil 1

Just picked up a neat 06 black Lacrosse with 30000 miles, my question do I dare switch to Mobil 1? I remember when Mobile 1 first came out that if you put it a car with lots of miles it would creat lots of leaks. Any opinions out there. thanks Jim

There were lots of complaints from owners of old cars that Mobile 1 would cause problems in old cars. Thats was back in the 70s and those cars had problems anyway.

I don't see a problem with the seals on an 06 vehicle.

Good choice. We switched the Astro, with 180,000 on it with no issues.
