A cocky Department of Agriculture agent stopped at a farm and talked with an old farmer, saying, “I need to inspect your farm.”

The old farmer said, “Okay, but don’t go in that field,” motioning to a pasture off to the west.

The DOA agent said, “I have the authority of the United States Government with me. See this card? I am allowed to go wherever I wish on agricultural land.”

So, the old farmer went about his farm chores. Later, he heard loud screams. Then he saw the DOA agent running for the fence in the west pasture. Close behind him was the farmer’s prize bull and the bull was madder than a nest of hornets at the intruder, gaining on the agent at every bound.

The old farmer yelled out, “Show him your card!! Show him your card!!”
