Thanks to the internet, my or my wife email acount was hacked during the night and had sent out a fake email.

Evidently my Wife took a trip to England after work last nightt and is stranded there with no Money.

I've been on the phone with my providers all morning trying to resolve the issue.

It's been reported to the propper channels and the hackers email has been removed.

Sorry if you've been emailed with this.

Still have more to do, but it will ahve to wait.

I got that email from Kim too. I open it before seeing this thread & lets hope it doesn't hack my PC.

Why is it so easy for the hackers to cheange every aspect of your account, including security questions so you cant change it back. But it's a entirely almost criminal prosecuting procedure to get it changed back?

When they hacked the account they stolle all my contacts, So whenI got it straighten around I had no contacts

So much for internet security with Yahoo.com mail servers.

Must be within "Yahoo.com" as a dear friend of mine also run into the same problem you describe.

While I was on the phone with them I heard they were experiencing a very high volume of call this morning, due to yahoo web based viral something or another.

Don't feel too bad... It happens. You got luck they just sent out "money" letter... when I got hacked they sent out porno!!!

Receiving PORNO is far better than receiving a "send money" letter.

My anti virus had nothing to protect. It was part of the yahoo mail server. They didn't get into my computer, just the web server for yahoo.

A real P.I.T.A.

Slowly getting some of my contacts back, as a few have retrurned emails questioning the trip.

Thank you to those that did question this and email me. At least I have those contacts back before Yahoo.mail can.

Is Yahoo Email free? If so, I'd stay away from those freebie.
