my first ride in a long long time

Tonight after the Lasagna dinner i had made. The wife and Daughter were going to have a hair coloring party. Since the boy didn't want any part of it, and I have no need for hair coloring (bald is beautiful baby).

We took the opportunity to taek a cruise in the SSR. It was about 60 degrees, with very little wind. Took hwy 9 down to Parkville for a afree concert in the park.

Well we didn't stay long.It took them for ever to get set up, and when they finally began to play. I couldn't believe my ears. This group dressed in Addidas sweat outfits, were performing RAP CRAP. And not just RAP CRAP, BTU what I call White Rap Crap. oh it was awful. we stayed for three songs and had to leave.

We hopped back in the SSR and proceeded to leave when the train just happended to come down the track forcing us to wait. Well, I took the opportunity to drop the top, crank the heated seats, and some classic country tunes. Now the train has past and we're on our way. Nice little drive back up hwy 9 towards the apt.

It was a short drive, but a drive none the less. The likes of which I have not been able to do since last Summer.

Yep, Storm and Kim wanted to color their hair while we were here in KC, MO. So , since the boy didn't want his done, and I don't have any on top to color. we skee daddled.

Storm went with a purple color under her natural blond. And Kim went with all brown to take care of the hairs that were showing their age. SHHHH don't tell her I sad that.

It' a stuggle to make it all winter let alone any longer than that, but when you get as busy as I do in my shop there just isn't a whole lotta time to drive anything. Besides, the big Orange truck handles all the hauling of cars and parts as well as the three of us where ever we need to go. I still have some other toys to drive though.

A little bit anyway. Wish the concert would have been something I/we could have enjoyed.
