NavTour G4 gps?

I'm thinking of making a solo run up to Northern CA. Knowing my sense of direction, I would feel better if I had a GPS system on board; however, not ready to purchase a permanent one just yet. Is anyone familiar with this one? Overstock.com has this one, and a few other, for under $2oo.

When are you planning to leave? I might be able to loan you one of mine to try.

Veteran's Day weekend ... November 6 - 10.

Nothing for sure yet but I 3 1/2 days off of work, plus the weekend = fun run!

Thumbs up Mio C220

I purchased a Mio C220 for about $89.00 last year when I was traveling to San Antonio.
I never got lost with it because you just push "HOME" and then "Route to".
I have seen it for less ($75.00) at The Radio Shack.
Of course it was after I bought mine.
I use it whenever I take a trip and it works great.
My only complaint is that it only has a male voice for English.

Charlie

Male voices aren't so bad.
