I bought a new (to me, it has 6,500 miles) '06 Pacific Blue (go figure) Hummer H2 Special Edition last month in Portland, Oregon, where my daughter and son in law and two grandchildren live. I made the deal with them that if I bought it, they would drive it to Phoenix for the Christmas holiday and I'd fly them back to Portland.
SO....they took the bait, and I'll be seeing my 4 month old granddaughter for the first time tonight - I can't wait. To see my granddaughter, not the Hummer.
Anyway, just thought I'd crow a bit - I get to see my granddaughter for the first time, get my Hummer that, just coincidentally is Pac Blue like the '06 and, not coincidentally, add to a certain member's current apoplexy regarding his most recent rant about the decline of the environment....what could be better?

Not my view on Hummers, but one of my friends bought an H2 and while doing a search to send them a congratulations email on their purchase I came upon this website:
Doug,
Unlike most of my life's plans which seem to crumble into place, your plan appears to be working to perfection! It is great that your new toy will also give you a chance to bring the family together.
Well done, sir.
ENJOY!!!!!!!
Jamie
The whole family and all that PAC Blue Paint, sounds like you have created a wonderful environment!
I know I'm getting old, but it's worth it to see that a little time concentrating on one thing becomes a great big family! Thanks alot guys, I'm so happy!

FYI
So if you are going down the road in the Hummer and you get the finger, it is probably someone that belongs to this webiste.
My daughter sent me that site, too funny! I rented an H2 for a couple of days before purchasing the SSR. Drove the sh*t out of it, even took it up the 10,000 volcano. Handles speed bumps @ high speeds well

I sent it to a friend here in FL that owns a H2 the other day. Now when we see him driving his Hummer we give him the finger (as a joke) and laugh. He knows why were doing it.
