The prayers are working but Deb has a long way to go! She is able to move here arm and leg a little easier today. Her speech is better than yesterday. She will be in ICU for another day then transferred out for about 5 days or so. She will then go to a rehab facility for about 30 days to continue healing with therapy.
It will be a long hard road for Deb and also Jeff, BLUE THUNDER, so please continue to pray for a speedy and complete healing.
Thank you all so very much as we are all extended family to each other.

Deb is out of ICU andin a regular room now. She will be moved to a Rehab center in a few days. At the present time she is still at Denver Health Hospital. I do not know the name of the Rehab center but as soon as I do I will let you knowin case you may want to send a card to share your love and inspiration.
Please continue to pray powerfully.
She has her children in town to be with her. When she gets to Rehab and situated then I hope to visit her in person. I can sympathize with her as I too had a stroke when my heart stopped in the ICU in Georgia.
This is a great time for us all to evaluate our own health and to avoid as much as we can the things that cause stroke and heart attacks.

Please put Deb and Jeff, BLUE THUNDER, on your prayer list and prayer chain. The Almighty Surgeon is now at work with your help.
Thank you very much.
Saying a prayer for Deb as I write this, and one for you. God BLess.

My Dear Fanatic Brothers and Sisters,
You can not begin to know how important and precious your responses to Deb's circumstances has been to us. Your thoughts and prayers, and the good Lord's intervention have resulted in a miracle right before our eyes.
On October 31, Deb suffered a cerebral hemmorage (stroke). The initial prognosis was 6-18 months recovery with the first 3 months in the hospital. The potential for permanent brain damage was almost certain. The entire right side of her body was paralized and speech was nonsensical.
Today, November 20, she was discharged from the hospital. She is walking on her own. She is using her right arm. Her speech, though not perfect yet, is amazingly clear. Her cognitive skills have almost fully returned. Her neurologist believes in 3-6 months she will regain 100% of her functions. Her doctors and hospital staff are amazed. They called her their "rock star". She has recovered in 3 weeks what normally takes 3 months.
Your thoughts, prayers, cards, and flowers have overwhelmed us with your love and care, and "thank you" does not begin to express our gratitude for your immense outpouring. We give thanks and praise to our Creator who heard those prayers and heeded them.
She will be at her sister's home for the next 2-3 weeks with in home therapy. Her address for this timeframe is:
Deborah Henry
c/o Johnny and Diana Johnson
1337 Kingsfield St
Castle Rock, CO 80104
After this period she will go to our middle daughter's home for an undetermined period of recovery. Her address there will be:
Deborah Henry
c/o Sarah and Tim Viera
6411 176th Place NW
Stanwood, WA 98292
Mail is being forwarded by the hospital, and it will be forwarded from Deb's sister's to our daughter's home.
I am truly humbled by your love and expressions. Who would have thought when I bought that first SSR in May of 2004 that this loving family of life-long friendships came with it. I am eternally blessed by you.
