THIS FRIDAY,my step dad is having a pain pump, medicially installed to his spine, for his Spasticity. This is necessary because if he doesn't get this, he will become parlayzed and not be able to sit or walk. There are a lot of side effects from the medication too, so this is no quick fix, it is just going to help him stay mobile as much and as long, as possible.
My mom will need extra prayers too throughout all this.

I am thankful for my SSR Family that I can lean on and I know you will be there for me, this is not going to be easy to deal with, and it gets tougher each time I go see him,
my mom and Marshall (dad) got married 19 years ago, he is a great, grandpa to my kids and a great dad to me and my brothers.
my prayers are for comfort and for him to be as pain free as possilbe while dealing with this horrible illness.

Machell, You have our prayers for your step father and all of your family as this process is broached. May your step father come through it and your mother as well. may God keep you all safe from sorrow.

Update on dad, he went to the hospital this morning at 7:00, he was third on the list for procedures, so they didn't take him back til 10 and do the procedure til 1:00 they got home about 4,
Mom said he is doing good, no reaction to the meds, he even thinks his mucsles are a little relaxed because of the medication. he goes back in 2 weeks unless something comes up in the mean time, Thanks for your prayers, they mean a great deal to me and my family.
